3.13.13 … hurry, hurry, hurry …

“Solvitur Ambulando” – It is solved by walking, 2013 Lenten labyrinth walks, The Cathedral of St. Philip-Atlanta GA: It’s noon, and my mom and I are running errands and doing the Atlanta Driving Mamma Lindsey thing.  🙂

Today, we drove around my elementary haunts … again telling stories from the sixties and my days at E. Rivers Elementary School.  We drove through Buckhead (Habersham and Peachtree Battle) by the childhood homes of Roline, Mary/Catherine, Charlotte, Carter, Cary and Ellen, and later through Collier Hills and  by the homes of Mary, Rachel C (anyone know where she is?) and my sister’s friend Martha.
As I begin my walk, I am again struck by the beauty of this place.  The sun is streaming and the Bradford pear adds a hint of spring.  I hear children’s laughter from the nearby playground.

I am intrigued when a group of 2 men and a woman walk through the garden. The woman cuts across the labyrinth and the men walk around its circumference.  My mind refocused after she crosses my path … I don’t want to always be hurrying and miss the beauty of this place.
