5.11.12 … meander and meet …j

“Solvitur Ambulando” – It is solved by walking, The Meander and Meet Grillo Center Labyrinth, Boulder Creek-Boulder CO:

Unique labyrinth along Boulder Creek … Chatres-esq!

Cold and overcast .. I am wearing my dress for graduation w/ yoga pants. I feel Indian (Asian).

I am grateful today for all the pieces that fell together to get us here safely and happy.

Unique labyrinth … With a “meander” … “The Meander and Meet Grillo Center Labyrinth is located just west of the library bridge and just east of the Arapahoe Senior Center.”

The labyrinth is one of many public art installations along Boulder Creek. I love the sound if rushing water and birds.

“The Grillo Health Information Center invites you to experience a walk on our permanent outdoor labyrinth just west of the main branch of the Boulder Public Library and south of Boulder Creek.

This contemporary labyrinth is an interactive public art form designed by artists George Peters and Melanie Walker of Airworks, Inc. The labyrinth has become a defining design in the park area, using natural materials to create two intersecting paths. The two paths start at each end of the long park and meander in small loops to a central circle where the two lines spiral to a central meeting place.”

5.5.12 … Great Expectations! … We shall not cease from exploration, and the end of all our exploring will be to arrive where we started and know the place for the first time.” T. S. Eliot

“Solvitur Ambulando” – It is solved by walking, 2012 Labyrinth walks, Hobart Park/Davidson College-Davidson N.C.:

I visited North Mecklenburg (farmers market, labyrinth), and planned my day around Cinco de Mayo, the Kentucky Derby at 6:23 pm and the Super Moon two hours after that. Great Expectations!

At Davidson where there is a lacrosse tournament on the field next door. “One minute, one minute …” Screams of pain, cheering, hockey sticks clashing … Not my “usual” environment !

“We shall not cease from exploration, and the end of all our exploring will be to arrive where we started and know the place for the first time.”

Walking … very hot … But cool by the labyrinth!

Wind chimes …

Magnolias in bloom … And yes, the birds are chirping.
